ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION - GEORGIA CHAPTER
The Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter is the leading volunteer health organization in Alzheimer’s disease care - serving 159 counties in Georgia with offices in Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Dalton, Macon, Savannah and Tifton. Our chapter has been serving Georgia communities since 1982 by providing local support groups, education classes and other local resources.
GRADY HEALTH PREP PROGRAM
Grady makes it easy to get started with PrEP. For residents of Fulton or DeKalb counties, Grady can provide PrEP at no cost regardless of insurance status. PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) can be used by any sexually active person who’s HIV-negative, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
POSITIVE IMPACT HEALTH CENTERS
For almost 30 years, Positive Impact Health Centers has provided client-centered care to the HIV community and worked tirelessly to prevent the transmission of HIV in Atlanta. Positive Impact Health Center’s mission is to provide client-centered care for the HIV community to have a life worth loving. Positive Impact Health Centers offer a wide variety of services.
THRIVE SS SILVER LINING PROJECT
The mission of The Silver Lining Project is to create and maintain a safe space, both virtual and physical, where Mature African American men living with HIV can share, discuss and advocate for issues impacting their community. A sub-group of THRIVE SS, they share the same mission for their target demographic, Men of Color living with HIV over the age of fifty.
TRANS HOUSING COALITION
The Trans Housing Coalition (THC) is an Atlanta based, Trans-led and founded organization that began as a photography and grassroots crowdfunding project (The Homeless Black Trans Women Fund) aimed at getting chronically homeless Black Trans women off the streets. THC utilizes a housing first, person-centered approach to get Trans folks into permanent, affirmative housing.
ZAMI NOBLA (NATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF BLACK LESBIANS ON AGING)
DEEPLY ROOTED in Atlanta, Georgia with a national reach, ZAMI NOBLA (National Organization of Black Lesbians on Aging) is a membership-based organization committed to building a base of power for Black lesbians over the age of 40 living anywhere in the country. They center Service, Advocacy and Community Action Research.
