Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center was founded in 1989 with a mission to provide a welcoming space where people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, and cultures can find support and unconditional acceptance, and where they can learn, grow, socialize and feel safe.

Established in 1974, the Area Agency on Aging 1-B (AAA 1-B) is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization with a rich history of supporting older adults, people with disabilities and family caregivers in southeast Michigan.

Established in 1980, the Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) is a nonprofit agency that serves the elderly, adults with disabilities, and caregivers residing in Detroit, the five Grosse Pointes, Hamtramck, Harper Woods, and Highland Park. They remove the social, economic, physical, and psychological barriers to create aging-friendly neighborhoods through nutrition, health and wellness, and senior independence.

MiGEN provides services, advocacy, fun, and connection to LGBTQ+ folks ages 45+.

Out On The Lakeshore's mission is to provide a constant source of support and understanding to the LGBTQ community of the greater Holland area. They seek to create a community in which all persons are afforded equal rights and opportunities.
