John Camp
John Camp hails from Gatlinburg, but now lives in Knoxville with his husband and their 4 children. John has over 20 years experience in corporate management and event planning, he has always felt at home in the Knoxville area fringe scene. He is an advocate for body positivity and a leader in community development. As a stage manager extraordinaire, he co-produces Salomé Cabaret and is the co-producer and co-founder of the Smoky Mountain Burlesque Festival and Bear It All Burlesque. He is the President of Knox Fringe, and alongside Dustin Camp & Keri King, he also develops LGBTQIA+ programming for area event spaces, such as the Bijou Theater, through Camp King Entertainment. John serves on several area advisory boards in East Tennessee for LGBTQIA+ rights and advocacy. In 2020 John Co-Founded the Knox Pride Community & Resource center in Knoxville and will work tirelessly to serve the community he loves so much to be heard and seen 365 days a year.
