ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION - DESERT SOUTHWEST CHAPTER
Serving Arizona and southern Nevada, the Alzheimer’s Association Desert Southwest Chapter is there to help. They provide education and support to all those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias throughout their community, including those living with the disease, caregivers, health care professionals and families. They are also committed to advocating for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s disease and advancing critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
DEMENTIA CAPABLE SOUTHERN ARIZONA
The purpose of Dementia Capable Southern Arizona is to create a welcoming, compassionate community in which people with dementia can connect and thrive. This collaborative effort supports people with dementia and their caregivers through coordination and availability of resources, community education, and effective policy change.
PIMA COUNCIL ON AGING
PCOA’s mission is to promote dignity and respect for aging, and to advocate for independence in the lives of Pima County’s older adults and their families. We are Pima County’s leading experts on aging well, advocacy, and unbiased information for older people and their families. Founded in 1967, PCOA was among the first aging services organizations in the nation. We are passionate about improving the experience of aging in our community. We strive to be inclusive, innovative, and integrated into the fabric of our community.
