Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research- Department’s Community-Liaison and Recruitment Core (CLRC)

The overarching goal of The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (JHAD-RCMAR) Department’s Community-Liaison and Recruitment Core (CLRC) is to communicate and collaborate with community organizations to increase the translation of the preventive strategies and interventions that are developed.

ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION - GREATER MARYLAND CHAPTER

The Greater Maryland Chapter Alzheimer's Association provides support groups, free education programs and online services.

ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION - NATIONAL CAPITOL AREA CHAPTER

The National Capital Area Chapter serves people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and their families and caregivers in the District of Columbia, suburban and Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia.

BALTIMORE CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

The Department administers National Family Caregiver Support Program services to help families under certain circumstances, including those that care for frail older relatives and grandparents, or older relatives who serve as caregivers for minor children or children of any age who have disabilities.

BALTIMORE PRIDE

For four decades Baltimore Pride has served as the ultimate way to celebrate Pride and has become a city-wide tradition offering events such as the annual Pride Parade and Block Party, theTwilight on the Terrace Gala, Youth Pride, Pride in the Park, and many others.

CHASE BREXTON CENTER FOR LGBTQ HEALTH EQUITY - ELDER PRIDE

ElderPride from The Center for LGBTQ Health Equity offers education, resources, and groups for LGBTQ elders and their informal caregiving networks.

FREDERICK COUNTY DIVISION OF AGING AND INDEPENDENCE

The Frederick County Division of Aging and Independence develops and administers programs and activities that support older adults and adults with disabilities in their efforts to remain healthy, active, and independent members of the community, and to provide, coordinate and advocate for services which promote the dignity and enrichment of life for all seniors, persons with disabilities, families, and caregivers.

JOHNS HOPKINS BAYVIEW MEDICAL CENTER, ELDERPLUS

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center’s ElderPlus is a voluntary health program designed to provide and coordinate all needed preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services so that older individuals can continue living in the community

MARY'S HOUSE FOR OLDER ADULTS (MHFOA)

The mission of Mary's House for older adults (MHFOA) is to provide safe and affordable housing environments, the first brick and mortar will be built in Washington, DC for adults over 60 years of age, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and same gender-loving (LGBTQ/SGL) individuals. MHFOA seeks to create living environments that celebrate and honors the whole person as they age, no matter who they are.

MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF AGING

The Maryland Department of Aging is committed to working to improve the quality of services and supports offered to LGBTQIA+ older adults, their families, and caregivers.
