Kiera Pollock (She/Her) is Director of Senior Services at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Kiera oversees residential and nonresidential Senior Services for more than 5,000 senior participants age 50+. Her responsibilities include oversight of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation Senior Center in Hollywood, Triangle Square, the nation’s first LGBT affirming affordable housing community, and the newly opened Ariadne Getty Foundation Senior Affordable Housing. Kiera is a member of the Aging and Disability Transportation Network for Los Angeles County; South Central Los Angeles Aging and Disability Resource Connection Advisory Committee (ADRC) and Purposeful Aging Los Angeles (PALA) . Kiera earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University and is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in New York State. She has more than 15 years of social services leadership experience during which she created and implemented a variety of clinical and multidisciplinary collaborative programs, including an outpatient mental health program focusing on trauma, a child advocacy center, rape crisis center, special victims center, and a comprehensive crime victims program. In October 2018, Kiera was elected to the Los Angeles County Commission for Older Adults.
